Now… let’s get right into it!

I know, I know, you’re probably thinking, “I don’t have time for that.” But hear me out.

Making a few small changes to your lifestyle can have a big impact on your energy levels, focus, and overall well-being. And when you’re feeling good, you’re more productive.

So, what are these healthy habits?

Well, here are a few of my favorites:

Get enough sleep

This is probably the most important one.

Most adults need around 7-8 hours of sleep per night.

Here’s the thing… When you’re well-rested, you’re better able to focus, make decisions, and handle stress.

So don’t be cheap with your sleep.

Exercise regularly

Exercise doesn’t have to be complicated.

Even a short walk or jog can make a big difference.

It releases endorphins, which have awesome mood-boosting effects.

And it also helps to improve your sleep quality.

Eat a healthy diet

This means eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

And as a side note, that’s why I started offering a 7-Day Clean Eating Challenge.

It’s my way of shining a light on the importance of eating right.

With clean eating, not only do we want to eat more whole foods but it also means limiting any processed foods, sugary drinks, and unhealthy fats.

Eating a healthy diet gives you the energy you need to power through your day.

And isn’t that the name of the game?

Manage stress

Stress can take a toll on your physical and mental health.

There are many ways to manage stress, such as exercise, yoga, meditation, or spending time in nature.

Find what works for you and make it a priority.

That’s the most important part is finding what works best for you.

For me, as much as I hate waking up early, I’ve found that waking up early getting my workout in first thing in the morning… that’s what works best for me.

I get my exercise so I can check that off my list but then it helps me focus and center myself for the rest of my day.

When I’m all set to go right from the beginning of the day, I end up being more productive.

When I’m more productive, I stress less.

There’s something with getting in motion first thing in the morning that really sets me up for success right off the bat.

Take breaks throughout the day

Now some people take this one to the extreme but it’s really important to take breaks throughout the day, even if it’s just for a few minutes.

Get up and move around, step outside for some fresh air, or close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

I’ve taken all three approaches and it just depends on what it is I’m working on and what I’m in the middle of but taking breaks helps me (and by default, it’ll help you) to reduce fatigue and improve your focus.

So, those are a few of my favorite healthy habits.

If you’re looking to improve your productivity, then I encourage you to try a few of them out.

You might be surprised at how much of a difference they make for you.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. “These all sound great, but I’m too busy.”

Well, I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to be a monk to live a healthy lifestyle.

Just start by making small changes to your daily routine and you’ll be on your way.

For example, if you’re not getting enough sleep, try going to bed 30 minutes earlier each night.

Easy, right?

Or how about if you don’t have time to exercise, try taking a good walk during your lunch break.

Simple solution.

And if you’re eating unhealthy foods, try making one healthy change to your diet each week.
